Nursery Caterpillars – Week 2

Caterpillars Week 2

Staying Safe in Cyberspace

This week in assembly Miss Carr continued to talk to us about Staying safe in Cyberspace.  She talked to us about not giving away personal information and reporting anything inappropriate to an adult.  See the following websites for more information:

The music she played was “The Floral Dance” played by Brighouse and Rastrick Brass Band.  Here is a link if you would like to watch it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QLOBtR2tQ0

Miss Carr enjoys listening to Brass Band music and this piece is one of her favourites and makes her feel jolly and invigorated.

Year 4 take part on a Go Givers project

After having a class discussion on issues in the community they decided that they wanted to tackle the issue of litter in the area.

On 18th April 2013, five children went to Kala Sangam to share all the work they have done with all the other schools that took part in the project.

This included news paper reports, radio adverts, signs for the community.

Presentation

The class were presented with a certificate for all their hard work!

They felt very proud of all their work and making a real difference in the community.
