On Thursday 15th September, all the children in Key Stage 2 traveled down to the City Park, in the centre of Bradford. They went down to try to become world record holders. The world record that they were trying to break was the Guinness World Record Attempt for the longest chain of people making a heart-shaped hand gesture. And they succeeded! All the children are world record holders! Thank you to all the parents who gave permission for your child to attend the event and for your continued support with the range of activities that we try to do in school. There is also an extra special thank you to say to the children as the weather was ridiculously, unseasonably hot. Every child that took part will receive a world record breakers medal and they are going to be given out by a Guinness World Record official in a special celebration assembly. The children will also get chance to see the actual certificate too. Again, congratulations children and to all staff that took part: they wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!
