Guinness World Records

Children and staff from Year 3,4,5 and 6 took part in a world record event in September and last Tuesday we received our schools official certificate from the Offical guinness world record association. We are now record holders and hold the title  for Longest chain of people making heart-shaped hand gestures (2,331 people). As yet nobody has broken the record. Are there any other records you would like to break?

What makes Britain Great?

Last Friday, we celebrated all the things that make Great Britain fantastic. In Reception, letters were written to the Queen, a tea party was held and union jack bunting was made.

Across the rest of school, pupils ate toad in the hole, created music videos using British music, designed a new first class stamp, planned parties for the Queen and produced artwork about landmarks.

Safer Internet Day 2017

Last Tuesday, Safer internet day was celebrated in school. Safer internet day is celebrated globally and coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, Safer Internet Day is a great opportunity to talk to your family and friends about the safe, responsible and positive use of technology, and to ‘give a smile’ to help create a kinder online community.
