Brainstorm of what we do
E-safety Questionnaires – 30/11/2015
As part of our work as digital leaders, this week we have been investigating children’s views on e-safety. We have been asking children in Year One and Two about their behaviour online.
Miss Kelly will then use the information to help teach our parents about staying safe online.
Safer Internet Day – 10/2/2015
As part of safer internet day, the digital leaders held an assembly on the theme of good digital deeds. Children across school talked about what they like on the internet as well as what worries them. The digital leaders gave advice and explained the smart rules.
Safe: Keep safe by being careful and not giving out personal information.
Meeting someone you met online can be dangerous so it isn’t a good idea. Online friends are strangers even if you have been talking to them for a while.
Accepting:Don’t accept emails, messages or friend requests from people you don’t know they may contain viruses or nasty messages!
Reliable: not everyone you meet is reliable online they might lie about who they are. It is best to only chat to your real world friends and family.
Tell a parent, carer or trusted adult if something makes you feel uncomfortable online or worried, or if you or someone you know is being bullied online.
As part of safer internet day we made a video with our pledges on how we will make a better, safer internet. Watch them below.
